Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Commercial Lead Hub (the “service,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our website and subscription. We have kept it plain so you can actually tell what happens with your data.
Information we collect
We collect the account and contact information you give us, such as your name, email address, company name, and the counties and trade you select for your coverage. If you subscribe, our payment processor collects the billing details needed to charge you; we do not store full card numbers ourselves. We also collect basic, aggregate analytics about how the site is used through privacy-friendly Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies to track individuals.
How we use information
We use your information to provide the service, to send you the commercial opportunities you subscribe to, to provide support, and to handle billing. We may use your contact details to reach you about your account, important changes, or questions you have sent us. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
Public records data
The opportunity data we surface is compiled from publicly available government records, such as permits, property transfers, business filings, and public bids. That data describes properties, projects, and filings; it is not personal data we collect about you, our subscriber. We organize public information so you can act on it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand traffic and site performance in aggregate. These are privacy-friendly tools that do not use cookies to track individuals across sites. We use a single preference value stored in your browser to remember your light or dark theme choice. We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the limited processors we need to run the service, such as our payment provider to bill you and our email provider to deliver opportunities and support replies. Those processors handle data on our behalf under their own obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and rights of the service.
Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and support needs. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your account information sooner, as described below.
Your choices
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email support@commercialleadhub.com from the address on your account and a real person will handle it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including limiting access to it and relying on reputable providers for hosting, payments, and email. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children
The service is built for trade businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
